In the same sense as "Equality of Human Beings".
Or in the sense that an assertion/thought should not be able
to be buried or overridden simply on account of its origin,
but should stand on its own merits.
If person A had the experience that an event was good, and
person B had the experience that an event was bad, then both
experiences should be considered equally valid and
important. Rather than being incompatible and requiring the
abandonment of one, they should be incorporated into a
broader and more holistic understanding of the event.
